I
am NOT good at receiving a compliment. Usually when someone says something nice
about me, I say things like, “Oh, it’s no big deal.” Or I give all the glory to
God. I find it nearly impossible to just say thank you.
I’ve
been trying to get better at this. So today, when my friend paid me a compliment,
I said thank you. And then I giggled and told her she just gave me my something uncomfortable for the day.
Oh,
we are funny people, aren’t we?
