So,
um… I don’t back up my computer. Stop hyperventilating! I’ve done plenty of
that for all of us. Figuring out the best way to do it has been too
overwhelming for me to even get started on it. Please tell me this happens to other
people! I desperately know I need to do something and really want to do it, but
I work myself into such a tizzy about the whole thing that I put it off until
later. UGH!
Recently,
a friend of mine set me up on 2 online backup thingies. First he had to convince me that people wouldn’t hack into my computer.
Yes, I’m paranoid. He also told me to buy an external hard drive. It’s been
sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks along with the DVDs that I bought to
back up my pictures on.
This
morning my phone rudely told me that I had no more space on it. Because nothing
is backed up, I don’t delete pictures or videos from my phone. Again, paranoid and overwhelmed. After a
quick check on my computer, I decided my computer would not likely explode
today, so I quickly erased the videos from my phone before we left the house. AND
now I have half of the storage available on my phone again!
As
I’m typing, the portable hard drive is doing a complete backup of my system. I
hope to start burning the photo DVDs when it’s done. What an uncomfortable
process this is!
What
have you been procrastinating about?
