Something Uncomfortable: Day 122

http://www.facebook.com/SomethingUncomfortableSteppingFromFearToFreedom
When I shower the kids, I shower my daughter first and then my son. I have to help her from start to finish and only have to wash his hair. While he’s finishing up, I comb her hair and put lotion on her. Then he gets out and I lotion him up. Nice, neat and the same way EVERY time.

My son wanted to go first today. He went first yesterday because my daughter was hysterical and he was naked first, so I went with it. There was absolutely no reason to let him go first today, except that he wanted to. Instead of being Captain Rigid, I let my son go first.

I’m letting him use the key to unlock the door every day. We might as well really live on the edge and switch up shower time.

When is the last time you lived on the edge and chose to be uncomfortable?
